Berkeley author Michael Chabon has just embarked on one of those “If it’s Tuesday it must be Pittsburgh” type book tours that make you exhausted just reading about them.
He is promoting his newly published collection of essays “Manhood for Amateurs: The Pleasures and Regrets of a Husband, Father and Son” and the media is lapping him up. He has already been on Fresh Air, on All Things Considered, both on NPR, and in the LA Times (in whose city he reads tonight) — and he’s doubtless only just begun because he does a great interview.
Closest to home he will be making appearances at Diesel on College Avenue on October 27, and at A Great Good Place for Books in Montclair on November 12.
Check out his full itinerary here — and be grateful you don’t have as punishing a schedule as his.
