We’ve just added a new feature on Berkeleyside, our events calendar.

Through some clever technology by Jon Udell at the Elmcity Project, the calendar is assembled by drawing on external sources. At the moment, any Berkeley event that appears on Eventful, Upcoming and Eventbrite will automatically appear on the Berkeleyside events list.

But that’s just the start. We want to make it as comprehensive as possible, so it can provide a resource for you to find everything that’s going on in Berkeley. If you maintain an events calendar, or you know an organization that has one, let us know. We’ll try to find the calendar’s feed (easy, if its on Google Calendar, harder in other cases) and include it here.

Like so much else on Berkeleyside, it’s a work in progress that needs your involvement. Let us know what you think and if you have any ideas for improvement.
