The Berkeleyside Flickr pool is attracting many talented photographers. These four images of the UC Berkeley campus in 1968 are part of an archival series of photographs by Nick DeWolf, and were posted there by his son-in-law Steve Lundeen.
Nick De Wolf was co-founder of Teradyne Corporation and he is credited with designing more than 300 semi-conductor and other test systems, including the world’s first computer-operated integrated circuit tester. DeWolf, who died in 2006, was also a passionate photographer. Lundeen describes his goal to digitize every picture De Wolf ever shot here.
The photographs above include images of Ludwig’s Fountain (second from top), and a group of students gathered around a table supporting presidential candidate Robert Kennedy (bottom).
