  1. Gong hai fat choi. I-House welcomes the public to its Lunar New Year celebration. All-you-can-eat buffet for $10 features dim sum, steam ginger cod and egg custard tarts. International House, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday.
  2. Hear the tar and the kamancheh. The Masters of Persian Music perform in Zellerbach Hall. Saturday at 8 p.m.
  3. He Rambled. Loudon Wainwright III (above) performs both classic songs and new compositions solo at Freight and Salvage. Saturday at 8 p.m.
  4. Happy Valentine’s Day, with a difference. The UC Botanical Garden is hosting a high tea for adults and children, where you can make fresh tea, herb finger sandwiches, and make valentines from pressed botanicals. Prior registration required. From 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
