I have to confess that I am not usually a fan of Mediterranean-style homes. They strike me as being more fitting to southern California and its weather rather than the vagaries of our Bay Area climate.
Having said that, this cute-looking home at 774 Spruce Street is appealing: those huge arched windows, the exposed beams, creamy plaster walls and vaulted living room ceiling. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, balconies and “filtered” Bay views.
It first listed in June last year and has since been off and on the market. It is now priced at $885,000 ($453/sq ft).
