Mimi Mugler, a programmer at CalAgenda, has a front-row view of the demolition work going on at the old California Department of Health Services building on the block embraced by Berkeley Way, Hearst, Oxford and Shattuck.

“My office is across the street. Two enormous bulldozers, one digging stuff out, the other right now dropping scrap metal into a dump truck and making it tremble with each drop. The ground is shaking from these huge earth movers. They are at it every day from about 7-4,” she wrote us yesterday. She snapped a photo today so we could all share the view from her window.
