Berkeley police are looking for a suspect they believe shot and seriously wounded two Berkeley residents Thursday morning.

A man and woman were found shot around 11:03 am in the 1700 block of 63rd Street, according to Officer Jamie Perkins, a Berkeley police department spokeswoman. They were taken to a local trauma center.

One of the victims was seriously wounded, according to Lt. Andrew Greenwood.

Police are searching for a black male in his 20s around 5’6” to 6’ tall, who was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, said Perkins.
