A reader writes in:

On my way to a doctor’s appt about 2 p.m. there was a member of the BFD making sure no one turned west on Vine from Arch. As I went through the intersection I could see a large street tree had uprooted and fallen on a car. As I came home about 30 minutes ago I looked up Vine from Shattuck and could see an ambulance among the many other vehicles.
