The Berkeley police report that a man was found dead near the corner of 62nd and King last night, the victim of a shooting.
The man, whose details have not yet been released, was found at 6:30 p.m. There have been no arrests in the shooting. The incident occurred only a block away from the May 20 shooting of two people. Doran Williams Jr. is being sought in connection with those shootings.
