Tonight, Lot 68 Lounge at the Shattuck Cinemas movie theater will hold a film release party for South African comedy White Wedding, with the movie’s director Jann Turner, and actors-co-producers Kenneth Nkosi and Rapulana Seiphemo in attendance.

The Lot 68 bar will be open for drinks and complimentary appetizers, and there’s the chance to win a “White Wedding” soundtrack CD.

Set in Cape Town and Durban, “White Wedding” is described as “a high-spirited modern day road comedy about love, commitment, intimacy, friendship, and the unbelievable obstacles that can get in the way of a fairy-tale ending”.

Hear an interview with the team behind the movie on NPR’s All Things Considered.

The event runs from 9-10pm, is free, and open to anyone 21 and over. Find details on the Shattuck Cinemas website.
