Berkeley’s oldest park, San Pablo Park, marks its 103rd birthday this year. Councilmember Darryl Moore marked one of the recent improvements to the park — new signs — with an unveiling ceremony yesterday afternoon.

Eager children from the after-school program at the Frances Albrier Recreation Center in the park tore the wrapping off the sign before Moore, whose District 2 includes San Pablo Park, posed for more formal photos with other officials involved with the park.
