Old City Hall

Earlier this month we ran a comprehensive chart of who is running for what in Berkeley in the November general election. As part of our election coverage, we are writing to all the candidates common questions, so voters can have some additional information for their decision.

The Personal Democracy Forum and their 10 Questions project is doing this on a national scale. We’re far more focused on our city of 100,000 people. We’d like to ask our readers what questions they’d like posed to candidates for City Council seats (districts 1, 4, 7 and 8 are up for grabs) and for the BUSD Board of Education. We’re not seeking questions targeted to specific candidates at this stage, but questions that can be posed to them all.

What do you suggest?
