If you live in Berkeley you know art cars. Whether the vehicles look like amphibians or are plastered with miniature plastic figurines, whether they are covered in sequins or skulls, they are always diverting, and sometimes eye-popping in their audacity.

Tomorrow, October 8, is your chance to see a whole procession of art cars in Berkeley as they are driven past Amoeba Records, sponsor of Artcar Fest, the West Coast’s largest gathering of art cars. Plan to be at Amoeba at 2455 Telegraph Avenue from 11am-12pm. As Amoeba puts it, “Bring the kids, bring the camera and expect to be entertained.”
