University of California police are reporting that at 2:32 am today, Friday October 22,, a strong arm robbery occurred on Grizzly Peak Blvd.

The victim, a 24-year-old male, was sitting in his vehicle using his cell phone when two suspects approached him on foot. The suspects opened the victim’s car door and took his cell from his lap, and cash from his pockets. One of the suspects ordered the victim out of his car and punched him in the face. 

The two suspects fled the scene on foot in a unknown direction. UCPD searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. The victim sustained  minor bruising to the face but refused medical treatment.
