A limb from an oak tree buries Jerry Holl's car. Photos: Daryl Austern

Jerry Holl was backing his car up in front of his home on Spruce Street Tuesday evening when Wham!, a huge limb from an oak tree fell on his car. Luckily, Holl was not hurt and made his way out of the passenger door.

Berkeleysider Daryl Austern was driving by around 6:30pm, right after the limb fell, and snapped these photos. She said Spruce was closed between Los Angeles and Keith as city workers sawed the limb into pieces.
