Millie is very sweet and is a great mom. She is affectionate and happy, though she is protective of her pups around other animals. She is fine with people handling them, and once she is comfortable with the other animals she’s fine. Of course soon she won’t have to be watching over her mini brood!

Pups Maggie and Mollie are cherubic! They’d love a home together or with their mom… and we offer discounts on multiple Chi adoptions! Currently fostered in Albany/Berkeley.

Meet Millie and her puppy Maggie at our next East Bay mobile adoption event, Sunday May 6th, from 12-4 PM. The Milo Foundation will be outside the George, 1824 Fourth Street in Berkeley, in the parking lot behind O’Chame Restaurant and Sur la Table store.

Berkeleyside’s Saturday column, “Adopt a Pet”, hopes to help match pets with a home and loving owners in our community. We partner with the Milo Foundation and Berkeley Animal Care Services to introduce just one of many pets that can be adopted. The Milo Foundation, a nonprofit, no-kill organization, provides an alternative for homeless pets throughout Northern California, through education, adoption services, and sanctuary until permanent homes can be found. Contact them directly to find out the more than 300 wonderful animals that are available for adoption.
