We recently made Berkeleyside readers an offer many of you couldn’t resist. We are giving away a print of the beautiful photograph shown here in exchange for your financial support of Berkeleyside.

Most of the 18 limited edition prints have been snapped up. But we have just a few prints left of “Supermoon”, which was shot by the hugely talented Ira Serkes,

Just in time for  Father’s Day on June 17th (if you order it today!) and graduations, the first readers who take out a $25/month subscription to Berkeleyside, or make a $300 donation will receive a 12″x 18″ sized copy of the print signed by the photographer.

By subscribing or donating at this level, you will cement your commitment to independent local journalism by helping Berkeleyside continue to deliver essential news, investigative reporting, and community information to you in the year ahead. All donations go into a fund to enable reporting important stories in Berkeley.

Should you already be a Berkeleyside subscriber, and would like to take advantage of this offer, we will simply upgrade your membership so you qualify for the complimentary print.

Think what a wonderful gift this would make for a graduating student, one that might be leaving Berkeley for college and would appreciate a memento to put on the wall of their dorm, or for a father who loves his hometown on Father’s Day.

If you would like to be one of the lucky recipients, take out a $25/month subscription using PayPal or your credit card on our Support page, or, if you prefer, get in touch with us directly at tips@berkeleyside.com so we can arrange to take credit card details. Either way, send us an email once you’ve subscribed so we know you have secured one of the wonderful photographs.

We are entrusting Berkeley’s wonderful Photo Lab with printing the Supermoon photograph. It is printed on Breathing Color 230 gsm textured paper with a 1″ border. Photo Lab, which is on 5th Street, can also arrange to have your print framed at a discounted price — simply get in touch with Photo Lab’s Customer Service department on (510) 644-1400 to discuss options. Allow three days to receive the print, 1o days to have it framed.
