
The popular Off The Grid weekly food truck festival will be launching on Telegraph Avenue on July 12. A rotating selection of eight to ten food trucks will be on Haste, just west of Telegraph, from 5 to 9 p.m. every Thursday. Off The Grid founder Matt Cohen told Berkeleyside, “This is a great opportunity to appeal to a new group of potential consumers and serve a need.”
Legal actions were in the news this week, with the family of murdered Peter Cukor filing a claim against Berkeley and its police department for wrongful death and severe emotional stress, and the family of Kim Flint suing cycling website Strava for wrongful death, following his cycling accident in Tilden Park in June, 2010.
