Berkeleyside hopes all our readers enjoy their July 4th. And we also want to hear from you whether you’re attending the big city festivities at the Marina, joining a neighborhood celebration, doing a backyard barbecue with your family, or perhaps ignoring all the hoopla. Let us know what really makes a Berkeley 4th.

If you tweet, use the hashtag #berkeley4th. If you Facebook, let us know on our page. If you have some photos, put them on our Berkeleyside Flickr poolemail them to us or post to Twitter with Instagram or some other service using the hashtag. You can even point us to videos you might post on YouTube or, who knows, send us an mp3 file with a musical contribution for the day. Let your imagination run wild.

We won’t be publishing on July 4th itself (we’re awarding ourselves a holiday — unless major news breaks), but we’ll compile all of your contributions and publish our account of a multifaceted Berkeley 4th the next day. Please join us for the fun.
