Update, 10:40am: Reader Steve got it. Here’s what Neil Mishalov, who took the photo, has to say: “This is the western side of 1300 Martin Luther King Jr.Way, the house that noted architect Bernard Maybeck designed and built as his family home. Original construction of the cottage was in 1892. Maybeck updated the structure in 1895. The structure was designated as a City of Berkeley Landmark on 1 February 2007. An excellent history of the property, written by Daniella Thompson, can be found here”. Congratulations, Steve, on being this week’s winner!
