Think you know food in the East Bay? Prove it by naming the restaurant and dish in the comments section below to win our latest contest.
Update, Jan. 25: We had two near-wins, from Nathan F. Dahl and Devin. This is, in fact, the three-way combo (with brisket, pulled pork and hot links; we got cornbread and roasted potatoes as well) from Smoky J’s Q House at 3015 Shattuck Ave. in Berkeley. We were feeling pretty hungry when we ordered so we also got the lip-smackingly-good potato salad, which was even better than the roasted potatoes. At $16.99, it’s a great deal for two (plus extra sides at $1.99 to $2.50). See the menu.
