This is a partial list of recent crimes in Berkeley, compiled by Berkeleyside, and based on reports to the Berkeley Police Department unless otherwise noted. The following items represent just a sampling of calls, and times may be approximate. April 4, Thursday

Three home burglaries were reported: at 1 a.m. in the 2200 block of Blake Street; at 6 p.m. in the 1000 block of Fresno Avenue; and at 9:19 p.m. in the 1800 block of Hopkins Street.

Four auto burglaries or thefts from a vehicle were reported: at 2 a.m. in the 3100 block of California Street; at 9 p.m. at an unlisted location and also in the 2700 block of Forest Avenue; and at 10 p.m. in the 700 block of Page Street.

Four robberies were reported: at 7:47 a.m. in the 3000 block of Shattuck Avenue; at 6:45 p.m. at Lincoln and California streets; at 6:50 p.m. at Posen and Carlotta avenues; and at 6:52 p.m. in the 1000 block of Sierra Street.

A felony assault or battery was reported at 3:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Euclid Avenue.

April 5, Friday

Seven home burglaries were reported: at 2 a.m. in the 2300 block of Dwight Way; at 7:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Blake Street; at 9:20 a.m. in the 500 block of Santa Barbara Road; at 10 a.m. in the 2000 block of Los Angeles Avenue; at noon in the 300 block of Vicente Road and the 100 block of Brookside Drive; and at 1 p.m. in the 2400 block of Warring Street.

Eleven thefts or burglaries from a vehicle were reported: at 5:24 a.m. in the 2500 block of Milvia Street; at 10 a.m. in the 700 block of Hearst Avenue; at 11:45 a.m. in the 2900 block of College Avenue; at 1:40 p.m. in the 1600 block of Bancroft Way; at 5 p.m. in the 2300 block of Jefferson Avenue; at 5:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Berryman Street and the 2000 block of Fourth Street; at 7 p.m. in the 1800 block of Bonita Avenue; and at 9 p.m. in the 1600 block of Grant Street, the 2000 block of Fourth Street and the 2000 block of Virginia Street.

Four vehicles were reported to have been stolen: at 8 a.m. in the 2200 block of Russell Street; at 12:45 p.m. in the 1800 block of Delaware Street; at 6 p.m. in the 1300 block of Curtis Street; and at 7 p.m. in the 1500 block of Posen Avenue.

A commercial burglary was reported at 2:04 p.m. in the 2000 block of Durant Avenue.

Three robberies were reported: at 2:40 p.m. at Piedmont Avenue and Parker Street; at 7 p.m. in the 800 block of University Avenue; and at 9:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of San Pablo Avenue.

A felony theft was reported at 7:06 p.m. in the 2800 block of Garber Street.

April 6, Saturday

Two commercial burglaries were reported, at 10:15 a.m. in the 1200 block of University Avenue and at 10 p.m. in the 1500 block of Walnut Street.

Three auto burglaries were reported: at 10:45 a.m. at Sixth and Harrison streets; at 2:05 p.m. in the 2100 block of Eunice Street; and at 6 p.m. at Hearst Avenue and Seventh Street.

A vehicle was reported to have been stolen at 11:45 a.m. from Jefferson and Addison streets.

Two home burglaries were reported, at 6:35 p.m. in the 1400 block of Grant Street and at 11 p.m. in the 2300 block of Parker Street.

A felony theft (over $950) was reported at 7 p.m. in the 2100 block of Eunice Street.

There were two reports of guns or weapons, at 8 p.m. at Josephine and Vine streets and at 9:11 p.m. in the 2900 block of Adeline Street.

April 7, Sunday

Three thefts or burglaries from vehicles were reported: at 12:34 a.m. at Scenic and Hilgard avenues; at 11:30 a.m. at Shattuck Avenue and Virginia Street; and at 11 p.m. in the 2200 block of Haste Street.

A commercial burglary was reported at 2:28 a.m. in the 1500 block of Shattuck.

A home burglary was reported at 3:46 a.m. in the 2500 block of Regent Street.

Two vehicles were reported stolen, at noon in the 1200 block of Cedar Street and at 10 p.m. at Haste and Dana streets.

A robbery was reported at 8:40 p.m. in the 1800 block of Russell Street.

April 8, Monday

Six auto burglaries were reported: at midnight in the 1800 block of Highland Place; at 1:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of Seventh Street; at 2:15 p.m. in the 2000 block of Oregon Street; at 9 p.m. in the 1300 block of Spruce Street; at 9:05 p.m. in the 2900 block of College Avenue; and at 11:15 p.m. in the 1400 block of Shattuck.

Two vehicles were reported stolen, at 12:30 a.m. at Shattuck and Bancroft, and at 7:30 p.m. at Channing Way and Telegraph Avenue.

Two home burglaries were reported, at 12:45 a.m. in the 1900 block of Vine Street, and at 8 a.m. in the 1400 block of San Pablo Avenue.

A felony theft (over $950) was reported at 6 p.m. in the 2400 block of Telegraph Avenue.

A weapon was reported to have been brandished at 8:44 p.m. at Telegraph and Webster Street.

A misdemeanor sexual assault was reported at 11:11 p.m. in the 1700 block of University Avenue.

April 9, Tuesday

Five home burglaries were reported, at 6:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Prince Street; at 9:45 a.m. in the 800 block of Arlington Avenue; at 10 a.m. in the 800 block of Indian Rock Avenue; at 10:27 a.m. in the 500 block of Tunnel Road; and at 11:45 a.m. in the 1000 block of Cragmont Avenue.

A weapon was reported to have been brandished at 11:15 a.m. in the 2700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

Six auto burglaries were reported: at noon at Warring Street and Dwight; at 1:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Derby Street; at 2 p.m. in the 2400 block of Hearst Avenue; at 6:50 p.m. at Oxford Street and Berkeley Way; at 8 p.m. in the 1000 block of Cedar Street; and at 9 p.m. in the 3000 block of Halcyon Court.

A robbery was reported at 2:05 p.m. in the 1800 block of University Avenue.

A commercial burglary was reported at 6:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Fifth Street.

Two vehicles were reported stolen, at 8:20 p.m. at Bancroft Way and Piedmont Avenue, and at 10 p.m. in the 2400 block of Woolsey Street.

April 10, Wednesday

Two robberies were reported, at 1:20 a.m. in the 2100 block of Seventh Street, and at 7 p.m. in the 3400 block of Adeline Street.

Four thefts or burglaries from vehicles were reported, at 2:10 a.m. in the 1300 block of Carrison Street; at 3 p.m. in the 1700 block of Scenic Avenue; at 7 p.m. in the 1100 block of Parker Street; and at 8 p.m. in the 1100 block of Laurel Street.

Two home burglaries were reported, at 9 a.m. in the 2300 block of Prince Street and at 1 p.m. in the 1500 block of Stannage Avenue.

A felony assault or battery was reported at 3:49 p.m. at Harmon and California streets.
