Three young men with a gun robbed two males of their cell phones and wallets late Monday near Warring and Parker Streets, authorities said.

According to a statement released by the University of California Police Department on Tuesday afternoon, the male victims were walking in the 2500 block of Warring at 10:30 p.m. Monday when three men approached them and demanded their property.

Police said one of the men had a gun. The victims complied and the robbers ordered them to walk away from the area.

The victims later flagged down a University of California police officer to report the robbery. Police searched the area but could not find the robbers.

All three men were described as black, and 18-22 years old. The one with the gun was about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 145 pounds, and wearing a dark mask and black pants. Another was 6 feet 4 inches tall, 180-190 pounds, wearing a gray baseball cap and dark clothing. The third appeared to be 5 feet 10 inches tall, 170 pounds, and wearing dark clothing.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call the Berkeley Police Department at 510-981-5900.
