Sunday, June 16, Robbery: The victim was walking at 7 p.m. near University Avenue and Bonar Street when someone approached from behind and forcibly “removed the victim’s cellphone from his grasp,” then fled. The robber was described as a black man in his 20s, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 200 pounds, wearing all black clothing. 

Monday, June 17, Home burglary: A thief went into a home in the 500 block of Arlington Avenue, possibly through an unlocked window, and stole cash. The incident took place between 9:30 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Tuesday, June 18, Vandalism: Someone threw a rock through the window of a business in the 2000 block of Bancroft Way shortly before 11:40 p.m.

Wednesday, June 19, Auto burglary: A thief broke into a locked vehicle in the 2400 block of Fulton Street and stole a backpack. The victim had locked the car the prior night and discovered the burglary at 11:30 a.m.

Thursday, June 20, Vandalism: Someone used spray paint to vandalize the windows of a building in the 1900 block of El Dorado Avenue, a resident reported at 10:20 a.m.

Friday, June 21, Stolen vehicle: A thief stole a red 1993 Honda Civic from the 2000 block of Prince Street. The victim had parked on the street the prior night, and discovered the theft at 7:30 a.m. The California Highway Patrol found the vehicle the next day in Oakland.

Saturday, June 22, Loud reports: Police responded to a report of what sounded like gunshots in the area of San Pablo Park, in the 2800 Block of Park Street, at 9:42 p.m. They checked the area and were able to identify the noise as fireworks.
