This is a partial list of recent crime in Berkeley, compiled by Berkeleyside, and based on reports to the Berkeley Police Department unless otherwise noted. See past crime blotters here.
The following items represent just a sampling of calls, and times may be approximate. From Nov. 14-20, there were 35 burglary reports, 28 auto break-in or theft from a vehicle reports, and 13 stolen vehicle reports to the Berkeley Police Department, according to CrimeMapping.com. Eleven robberies and 11 assaults, domestic violence incidents or batteries were reported. These numbers are subject to change. Click the previous links for the most current information.
Thursday, Nov. 14
Three home burglaries were reported: at 8 a.m. in the 3000 block of King Street; at 9:30 a.m. in the 2600 block of Dana Street; and at 4 p.m. in the 2800 block of Buena Vista Way.
Four robberies were reported: at 9:09 a.m. at Woolsey and Tremont streets; at 4:20 p.m. at Fourth Street and Allston Way; at 5:50 p.m. in the 1800 block of University Avenue; and at 6:25 p.m. in the 1400 block of Shattuck Avenue.
Four auto burglaries were reported: at 9:30 a.m. in the 2600 block of Dana; at noon in the 800 block of University; at 8:50 p.m. in the 1800 block of Arch Street; and at 10:20 p.m. in the 2900 block of Russell Street.
A vehicle was reported stolen at noon at Delaware and Curtis streets.
A commercial burglary was reported at 2:25 p.m. in the 1500 block of Shattuck Avenue.
A gun or other weapon was reported at 8:48 p.m. at San Pablo Avenue and 61st Street.

Friday, Nov. 15
A misdemeanor sexual assault was reported at midnight in the 2300 block of Dwight Way, and a felony sexual assault was reported at 6 p.m. in the 2900 block of Benvenue Avenue.
Four thefts or burglaries from vehicles were reported: at 1 a.m. in the 1600 block of Stuart Street; at 8 a.m. in the 800 block of University; at 7 p.m. in the 2600 block of Hillegass Avenue; and at 9 p.m. in the 2400 block of Telegraph Avenue.
Four vehicles were reported stolen: at 1:03 a.m. in the 1700 block of University; at 6 a.m. in the 2300 block of Bonar Street; at 4 p.m. at Berkeley Way and California Street; and at 6:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Southampton Avenue.
Four home burglaries were reported: at 3:24 a.m. in the 2300 block of Piedmont Avenue; at 7:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Overlook Road; at 11 a.m. at an unlisted location; and at 10 p.m. in the 2600 block of College Avenue.
Three commercial burglaries were reported: at noon in the 1800 block of University; at 12:34 p.m. in the 2800 block of San Pablo; and at 7 p.m. in the 2500 block of Ninth Street.
Saturday, Nov. 16
Five home burglaries were reported: at 11:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of Josephine Street; at 11:45 a.m. in the 2000 block of Woolsey Street; at 1 p.m. in the 1500 block of Josephine; at 1:40 p.m. in the 2600 block of Regent Street; and at 11 p.m. in the 1600 block of Belvedere Avenue.
Four thefts or burglaries from vehicles were reported: at 1:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Seawall Drive; at 4:45 p.m. in the 900 block of University; at 9 p.m. in the 1600 block of Ninth Street; and at 11 p.m. in the 500 block of Santa Barbara Road.
Two robberies were reported, at 6:36 p.m. at Allston Way and Bonar, and at 6:50 p.m. in the 2300 block of Stuart.
The University of California Police Department also reported a robbery, at 11:30 p.m. near California Hall on campus. An 18-year-old student was sitting on a ledge on the east side of California Hall when he was approached by two males. One asked him for the time and the victim responded. One of the males then told the victim he wanted his possessions, and the two suspects tried to grab the victim’s iPhone. “The victim used his skateboard as a shield and pushed the suspects away,” said police in a statement released last week. The victim let go of the skateboard and ran away. The suspects fled with the skateboard. When the victim arrived home, he called UCPD to report the robbery. UCPD searched the area but could not locate the suspects, who were described as two while males, 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing all black clothing. One had a medium build and curly blond hair. The other had a hooded sweatshirt over his face; no further description was available. Anyone with information about this crime can call UCPD at 510-642-6760.
A vehicle was reported stolen at 7 p.m. in the 1000 block of Jones Street.

Sunday, Nov. 17
A felony assault or battery was reported at 5:30 a.m. in the 2400 block of Dwight Way.
Two vehicles were reported stolen, at 7 a.m. in the 200 block of University Avenue, and at 3 p.m. in the 2300 block of Ninth.
A home burglary was reported at noon in the 1200 block of Hearst Avenue.
A theft from a vehicle was reported at 7 p.m. in the 3200 block of Sacramento Street, and an auto burglary was reported at 8 p.m. in the 2800 block of Regent Street.
A robbery was reported at 7:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of Telegraph Avenue.
Monday, Nov. 18
Seven auto burglaries were reported: at 5 a.m. in the 2100 block of Dwight; at 6 a.m. in the 2500 block of Shattuck; at 7:55 a.m. in the 1200 block of Eight Street; at 1:09 p.m. in the 2100 block of Channing Way; at 4 p.m. in the 2700 block of Ridge Road; at 4 p.m. in the 1900 block of San Pablo; and at 7:30 p.m. at Ward Street and Shattuck Avenue.
Three vehicles were reported stolen: at 6 a.m. in the 2300 block of Piedmont; at 2:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Le Roy Avenue; and at 6:05 p.m. at Cherry and Stuart streets.
Six home burglaries were reported: at 6:15 a.m. in the 2300 block of Piedmont; at 9 a.m. in the 1700 block of Grant Street; at 2:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Parker Street; at 3 p.m. in the 2100 block of Haste Street; at 6 p.m. in the 2800 block of Stanton Street; and at 11 p.m. in the 2100 block of Dwight.
Two robberies were reported, at 9:30 a.m. at Durant and Shattuck avenues, and at 8:31 p.m. at Stuart and Ellsworth streets.
An arson was reported at 3 p.m. in the 1800 block of Cedar Street.
A commercial burglary was reported at 5 p.m. in the 2400 block of Stuart.
A felony assault or battery was reported at 7:43 p.m. in the 1200 block of Ashby Avenue.

Tuesday, Nov. 19
Three commercial burglaries were reported: at 3:58 a.m. in the 1800 block of Fourth Street; at 1:05 p.m. in the 2600 block of Telegraph; and at 7 p.m. in the 900 block of University.
Five home burglaries were reported: at 8 a.m. in the 1300 block of Northside Avenue; at 9:35 a.m. in the 1700 block of McGee Avenue; at 9:45 a.m. in the 2800 block of Dohr Street; at 10:08 a.m. in the 2800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way; and at 10:20 a.m. in the 1800 block of Stuart Street.
Four auto burglaries were reported: at 11:25 a.m. in the 2400 block of Webster Street; at 6:15 p.m. in the 2700 block of Dwight; at 6:45 p.m. in the 2700 block of Webster; and at 7:30 p.m. at Dana Street and Durant Avenue.
A robbery was reported at 4:11 p.m. in the 800 block of University.
A vehicle was reported stolen at 5:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Telegraph Avenue.

Wednesday, Nov. 20
Three home burglaries were reported: at 2:27 a.m. in the 2700 block of Ellsworth Street; at 8:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Buena Avenue; and at 12:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Dwight Way.
Three thefts or burglaries from vehicles were reported: at 9:50 a.m. in the 800 block of University; at noon at Dana and Durant; and at 5 p.m. in the 2300 block of Woolsey Street.
A vehicle was reported stolen at 11 a.m. in the 90 block of Indian Rock Road.
A robbery was reported at 5:50 p.m. at College Avenue and Webster.
A felony assault or battery was reported at 10:38 p.m. in the 1400 block of Ninth.
