Terry Sellards, who worked at the Berkeley Gazette for 14 years, many of those as editor, died of heart failure in San Francisco in early March. There will be a memorial service for him at St. Agnes Church on Thursday March 27 at 7 p.m..

Sellards, 76, was an accomplished reporter, editor, publisher and politician, and held positions everywhere from Berkeley to Hong Kong to Australia. He was very involved in his community, even working as a phone volunteer for Alcoholics Anonymous in San Francisco when he became homebound.
