It’s time to reach some important conclusions in Nosh-land. We want to know where you go to eat what you consider to be the best burger in the East Bay.
It’s not like we’re not spoilt for choice: when Berkeleysider Ira Serkes recently turned to his friends on Facebook to ask them where he should go for a burger, he was inundated with suggestions. Some of those recommendations included Café Rouge, Eureka, Smokehouse, Zut!, Al’s, Sidebar, TrueBurger, Fat Apples, In ‘n Out, Bongo Burger, Yoshi’s, Christopher’s, Chop Bar, the Paragon, The Station, Gather and Rudy’s Can’t Fail Café.
And there are so many more — Barney’s, Umami Burger, 900 Grayson, Tribune Tavern, Sliderbar, Royal Café, Park Burger, Mua, Moxy Beer Garden, BurgerMeister, Victory Burger, Luka’s Taproom, Grazzy Burger, Jodie’s Restaurant, Ahn’s, and Phil’s Sliders come to mind, and we’re sure you’ll remind us of others. It might be a no-frills burger shack or a more upscale gourmet burger destination. We’re interested in variations on a theme too — who does the best veggie burger, best gluten-free bun burger, or special-ingredient burger?
Tell us your favorite spot in the Comments below — and why it’s so good — and we will publish the results. Let the readers decide!
