Anne Rumrill Culver, who served as a Navy Wave during World War II, died Saturday, July 26. She was 96. Culver was an avid tennis player and one of her life lessons was never to throw away used tennis balls: There is so much that can be done with them. Culver saw Berkeley as “the greatest of homes,” and never tired of watching the sunset while dancing with her husband in their Panoramic Way home of more than 60 years.
