This overview of recent crime in Berkeley is based on reports to the Berkeley Police unless otherwise noted. From April 23-29, there were reports of three robberies, 20 burglaries, 11 assaults or batteries, no weapon-involved calls and one sexual assault, according to CrimeMapping.com. There were also eight stolen vehicles, 16 disturbances and 37 auto break-ins or thefts from vehicles reported. Reported incidents from the University of California Police Department (UCPD) included a burglary and a sex crime. These numbers are subject to change. Click the links for the latest numbers. The following items represent a sampling of calls, and times may be approximate.

Thursday, April 23

There were two commercial burglaries, at 12:27 a.m. in the 800 block of Bolivar Drive, and at 3:12 a.m. in the 1500 block of Shattuck Avenue.

Two vehicles were stolen, at 8 a.m. in the 2800 block of Forest Avenue, and at 9:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Arcade Avenue.

There was a home burglary at 8:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Channing Way.

There were two disturbance calls, at 8:40 a.m. at Ninth and Page streets, and at 6:52 p.m. in the 2600 block of Telegraph Avenue.

UCPD detained a 35-year-old man at about 1:30 p.m. in University Village in Albany, at Red Oak Avenue and Sixth Street, on suspicion of indecent exposure. He was ordered to stay away from university property for seven days.

Police arrested Trina Christopher, 49, on suspicion of possession of a firearm. She is no longer in custody but is scheduled to return to court May 12 to enter a plea.

Friday, April 24

There were four home burglaries: at 8 a.m. in the 900 block of Hearst Avenue; at noon in the 600 block of Santa Rosa Avenue; at 5 p.m. in the 1400 block of Gilman Street; and at 10 p.m. in the 2400 block of Prince Street.

There was a misdemeanor sexual assault at 1:30 p.m. at Fourth Street and Channing Way.

There were three disturbance calls: at 3 p.m. in the 700 block of Wildcat Canyon Road; at 4:18 p.m. in the 2100 block of Milvia Street; and at 11:49 p.m. in the 2400 block of Ashby Avenue.

There was a robbery at 4:25 p.m. at Channing Way and Dana Street.

Police arrested two people at 7:35 p.m. at Bowditch Street and Bancroft Way: Raeshad Dixon, 20, on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools and stolen property, and other violations.; and 18-year-old Mack Woodfox III in connection with the same violations. Neither remains in custody. They are scheduled to return to court to enter a plea May 8.

There were two vehicles stolen, at 8:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Gilman, and at 9:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Milvia Street.

Saturday, April 25

There were four home burglaries: at 12:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Stuart Street; at 2 a.m. in the 2500 block of Woolsey Street; at 11:25 a.m. in the 1900 block of Sixth Street; and at 2:20 p.m. in the 1400 block of Holly Street.

There was a second-response call at 3:11 a.m. in the 2300 block of Parker Street.

A vehicle was stolen at 5 p.m. in the 2700 block of Channing Way.

There were two disturbance calls, at 7:45 p.m. in the 1500 block of Derby Street, and at 9:25 p.m. in the 3000 block of Bateman Street.

Sunday, April 26

Two men were stabbed at 1:53 a.m. at Telegraph and Durant avenues. Five men were ultimately charged after a dispute that began over a spurned dance invitation inside Pappy’s Grill & Sports Bar on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley, police said. Read more on Berkeleyside.

There were two disturbance calls, at 3:03 a.m. in the 2500 block of Durant, and at 11:13 a.m. at Channing Way and McKinley Avenue.

There was a home burglary at 7:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of Acton Street.

There was a commercial burglary at 10:21 p.m. in the 1800 block of University Avenue.

Monday, April 27

There were two robberies, at 12:06 a.m. at Euclid Avenue and Virginia Street, and at 11:19 p.m. at Walnut and Cedar streets.

There was a felony assault or battery at 4:30 a.m. at University and Sacramento avenues.

There were two home burglaries, at 7 a.m. in the 1200 block of 66th Street, and at 10 p.m. in the 2200 block of Channing Way.

There were two commercial burglaries, at 8:44 a.m. in the 2600 block of Telegraph Avenue, and at 11:20 a.m. in the 2900 block of College Avenue.

UCPD got a report of a burglary at Shared Services — of a MacBook Air laptop worth $1,050 — that took place between 4:15 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Monday.

There was a disturbance call at 11:49 a.m. in the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

Tuesday, April 28

There were four disturbance calls: at 6:15 a.m. in the 1900 block of Sixth Street; at 7:55 a.m. in the 1000 block of Pardee Street; at 12:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Solano Avenue; and at 1:35 p.m. in the 2900 block of Fulton Street.

There was a home burglary at 7:23 a.m. in the 800 block of Contra Costa Avenue.

A vehicle was stolen at 6:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of McKinley Avenue.

Wednesday, April 29

There were two vehicles stolen, at 4:32 a.m. in the 1300 block of San Pablo Avenue, and at 9:30 a.m. at 10th Street and Hearst Avenue.

There was a disturbance at 11:21 a.m. at Allston Way and Shattuck Avenue. Police ultimately arrested an Oakland man and two teenagers with a replica gun who authorities say planned to help with a fight involving two Berkeley High students. Read more on Berkeleyside. Berkeley High’s principal restricted campus access that day after learning of fights planned involving students.

There was a commercial burglary at 1:50 p.m. in the 1700 block of University.

There was a home burglary at 2 p.m. in the 2400 block of Warring Street.
