Berkeley police are on the scene at Wells Fargo on University Avenue due to a robbery at the bank Thursday afternoon.
Police got multiple reports from Wells Fargo at about 1:50 p.m. that it had just been robbed, said Berkeley Police Sgt. Andrew Frankel, department spokesman.
The bank is located at 1095 University Ave., at San Pablo Avenue.
No one reported any injuries and no arrests have been made.
But Frankel said police have stopped a vehicle that may be tied to the robbery.
Frankel said limited information was available because the robbery just happened.
“Police are at the bank now sorting it all out,” he said.
