Update, Nov. 7, 5:20 p.m. Police arrested 28-year-old Julius Baham of Oakland after a search in South Berkeley on Wednesday afternoon, authorities report. Police arrested him on suspicion of domestic violence, resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine, false imprisonment, obstruction of the use of wireless device and and committing a felony while out on bail, said BPD Sgt. Veronica Rodrigues.
Baham was arrested at about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to BPD. He is being held at Santa Rita Jail with a bail of $140,000 and is scheduled for arraignment Friday at the Wiley Manuel Courthouse in Oakland, according to jail records online.
Update, Nov. 6, 2:25 p.m. Berkeley police have ended the search for a wanted man in the 2100 blocks of Ward and Derby streets. In a Nixle alert sent out around 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, BPD said officers were clearing the area.

Police are searching for the man in the 2100 blocks of Ward and Derby streets, BPD announced in a Nixle alert Wednesday afternoon.
Berkeley Police Sgt. Veronica Rodrigues said officers responded to the 2000 block of Parker Street (near Milvia Street) at noon for an assault report. Police tried to stop a man who ran from them at the scene, she said. The man is now wanted on suspicion of domestic violence, she said.
Police advise anyone who sees suspicious behavior in the area to call 911.
