Three former employees of the Oakland restaurant have filed suit for wage theft. The employees, along with a restaurant worker’s group, held a protest of Calavera on April 1.
Oakland and Berkeley’s Restaurant Weeks begin Jan. 14 and run through the end of the month. Over 100 restaurants across the region are participating this year.
