City’s fee hike takes the air out of beloved Berkeley Kite Festival

After containing the fire, firefighters continued to put out “hot spots” for about 1.5 hours.

Dogs have been allowed off-leash at several East Bay Regional parks, like Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve, but EBRPD are asking owners to leash dogs in keeping with shelter-in-place mandated social distancing practices.
