EBMUD: Berkeley water leak repairs will cause outage
EBMUD says it will repair a water leak today at Fulton Street and Dwight Way in Berkeley that started Friday evening. The repair work will cause some customers in the area to be without water.
EBMUD repairs burst pipes in West Berkeley
The pipes that burst were several decades old. “The timing was spot on in terms of seeing the need to replace aging infrastructure. When age is a factor, pipes become more susceptible to leaks, breaks and corrosion,” said an EBMUD spokeswoman.
