Berkeley police recover weapons cache after gunfire investigation

Residents locked themselves in their rooms while they waited for police to arrive. The man was ultimately arrested on suspicion of burglary and sent for a psychiatric evaulation.

UC Berkeley student arrested after fraternity rape report

Police arrested a 20-year-old Cal student on suspicion of rape in connection with a case from earlier this year reported to have taken place at a fraternity party. The DA’s office announced Friday afternoon it would not file charges.
