Police said the woman who was stabbed in a tent in People’s Park on Saturday had serious injuries but is expected to survive.
“My son got lucky,” the father of the student told Berkeleyside on Wednesday. “This could happen to anyone.”
Both victims were rushed to the hospital but were in stable condition Monday, police said. Authorities have made arrests in both cases.
Authorities said the stabbing was the culmination of a domestic violence attack and sexual assault that began in Berkeley.
